Slater Menswear is a leading UK destination for formalwear, tailoring, wedding hire and casual attire. With 27 stores across the UK and an online store, it prides itself on exceptional personal service and choice. Datitude has been working with Slater Menswear since 2020.
Transforming reporting & data use across the business
Slater Menswear approached Datitude as part of a wider technology modernisation programme. It was replacing its stock management system and recognised it was the right time to replace its outdated, cumbersome and resource-intensive reporting solution.
In particular, it wanted to improve its business intelligence, reporting and data usage at an enterprise, regional and individual store level.
Datitude has brought all its sales and stock data together - providing a single source of truth across all their stores - and created a suite of bespoke reports for head office, regional teams and individual stores.
Weekly trading reports are now automated and sent directly to store managers and key stakeholders. Live data is available down to SKU level. And critically, online purchases returned in store are now correctly attributed to ecommerce.
Users can explore, filter and extract the data themselves. They can also build their own reports through the Datitude Application and Excel Add-in, without relying on IT to pull information together from different sources.
Reporting is faster, more flexible and far easier to use. Store and central teams can access the detail they need, when they need it, and the IT team spend less time producing reports and more time supporting the business.
