Datitude's co-founders and directors have decades of experience in multi-channel retailing, business, and technology, including providing multichannel ecommerce platforms to many of the UK’s best-known brands and retailers (including Burberry, Matalan, Oasis, Matches Fashion, and WHSmith). We know first-hand the challenges, and opportunities, that come with being able to get what you need from your data. It's why Datitude was founded on the premise insight should drive action, and the best decisions are made when an organisation’s data is easily accessible and understood. SARAH HUGHES
Co-Founder & CEO
Sarah has a degree in Engineering and an MBA but after 10 years in manufacturing, she realized she had entrepreneurial roots and founded Fresca, one of the UK’s leading e-commerce platform providers. Sarah took Fresca from start-up in 2000 to sale (to BT Plc) in 2008; from 1 person to over 100. Now, as co-founder at Datitude, she has found out just how much she loves working with data and omnichannel retail. The best bit of her job? Seeing data come to life and Datitude's managed platform and solutions deeply adopted within our clients’ organisations.
GAVIN WILKINSON
Co-Founder & CTO
Gavin and Datitude are a perfect match! With an Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield, his career has focused on software and systems engineering. He has worked for companies large and small and founded his first business in 2002. Judging the time right for SaaS eCommerce, Gavin developed one of the UK’s most commercially successful on-demand e-commerce platforms and worked with some of the biggest and best retailers to grow their online and multichannel businesses. The best bit of his job? Bringing ideas to life and seeing them grow up.
JUSTIN LORD
Sales Director
Justin's appointment in March 2023 marked a return for this leadership team to work together again! They all worked at Fresca; one of the UK's leading, and most successful, e-commerce platforms in the noughties. Justin was Fresca's Executive Chair & Business Development Director. During his impressive career, Justin has also held senior sales and marketing roles for blue-chip organisations and set up and led his own businesses. The best bit of his role? Working with this leadership team again and driving our sales activities to support the growth of the business.
JAMES MCLAUGHLAN
Chief Operating Officer
James has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility since joining Datitude in 2014. He was promoted to COO in 2021 to lead day-to-day operations and service delivery. James has extensive experience across retail systems, integrations and database technologies and is widely respected by colleagues, clients, and peers for his expertise. James is also busy studying for a Business Management degree. The best bit of his job? Working with the best team, and for the best clients, ensuring our solutions give clients easy and timely access to their own data.

RICH
Senior Application Developer
Rich joined us in 2018 as a Senior Application Developer. He brings wide-ranging development experience to complement the skills already in the team. Rich is always keen to engage with our clients to continue to enhance the user experience.
DAVE
Platform Technologist
Dave joined our first-line support team in 2021, having had extensive experience in a variety of tech roles, including client and project management. His skills and expertise resulted in him being promoted to Platform Technologist in 2022.
GODWIN
Support Analyst
Godwin is the newest member of our team who joined after gaining a masters (MS) in Applied Data Science. Godwin plays a key role in our service delivery: he provides first-line support to our clients and runs our daily systems checks and alerts.
AMANDA
Finance Manager
Amanda has worked with Datitude for many years as our Finance Manager. She supports us and our clients by making sure our accounts run smoothly.
KATE
Marketing Manager
Kate joined us in 2019 and is responsible for our marketing activities. She manages our digital platforms and is often the first point of contact for general enquiries.
