THE PROJECT

In just five years, My 1st Years is fast realising its dream of becoming the number one personalised baby brand in the world. The hugely successful personalised gift brand has expanded its range to include teddies and toys, blankets, clothing, bed, bath, and home accessories, and is available with international shipping from its online store, as well as through Notonthehighstreet.com and Childrensalon.

 

With dizzying growth, the smart, data driven team recognised it needed quicker and easier access to reliable data. As well as help integrating their data, they needed a solution that could accommodate bespoke data modelling and capture fast moving changes to its data analytics requirements for more unusual data types, including product bundles.

 

They turned to Datitude for its customer and retail data platform. In addition to integrating its ecommerce, ERP, email service provider and web analytics systems into our data warehouse, Datitude configured its bespoke analytics requirements.

 

My 1st Years chooses to access the platform through two front ends; Tableau and Datitude’s browser-based, proprietary Application. It uses both extensively and builds its own analysis: deep diving into rich sales, margin, profit, and customer data insights to help shape trading decisions and forecast more accurately.
