Jamie Reeve took over Great Little Trading Co in 2004 and has transformed the brand into a successful British business that designs and makes a unique collection of high-quality products that young families really need. It sells them exclusively online at gltc.co.uk and through its mail order catalogues.
GLTC approached Datitude in 2014 as it was looking for a customer data platform to provide greater insights into customer behaviour.
It was particularly impressed that Datitude’s solution would also enable it to measure, and act upon, its direct mail campaigns in real-time. Historically, despite an extensive and successful direct mail programme, it was relying on traditional data agencies to provide insight and the associated time lag meant it couldn’t measure campaign performance, or act upon the results, for several weeks.
Since then, Datitude’s platform is its daily go-to for all performance reporting and customer data analytics, with insights from best sellers, loyalty indices and online behaviour. It is reaping the benefits of customer behaviour analysis and making more informed, data-driven decisions based on real time performance and customer insights. Plus, GLTC is now in complete control of its direct mail programme with the Datitude user interfaces perfectly configured to support campaign execution and analysis.
