Sarah Hughes: Sarah has a degree in Engineering and an MBA but after 10 years in manufacturing, she realized she had entrepreneurial roots and founded Fresca, one of the UK’s leading e-commerce platform providers. Sarah took Fresca from start-up in 2000 to sale (to BT Plc.) in 2008; from 1 person to over 100. Now, as co-founder at Datitude, she has found out just how much she loves working with data in multi-channel retailing.
The best bit of her job? Seeing data come to life and the Datitude Platform deeply adopted within our clients’ organisations.
Gavin Wilkinson: Gavin and Datitude are a perfect match! With his degree in Engineering from the University of Sheffield, he focused his career on software and systems engineering and is delighted to now use all his favourite skills and talents. He has worked for companies large and small and founded his first business in 2002, which was brought together with Fresca in 2004. Judging the time right for SaaS eCommerce, he turned his previously bespoke eCommerce platform into the UK’s most commercially successful on-demand solution, and worked with some of the biggest and best retailers to grow their online and multichannel businesses.
The best bit of his job? Bringing ideas to life, and seeing them grow up.
